Since returning to scale modelling I have become aware of a number things that are to the detriment of the hobby. These are known the community but not talked about openly for a variety of reasons. This means that these situations and individuals can carry on as there is no deterrent. My personal belief is that exposure is the only thing that causes change, and to this end I have set up this blog. Here I will discuss some of these items and individuals - not because there is axe to be ground but because letting them get away with it is damaging our hobby. Anything published here will come from trusted, verifiable sources. For obvious reasons these sources may or may not wish a degree of anonymity when their contributions are published - this will not stop the content being accurate. I realise there will be those who do not approve and will level abuse - I don't give a shit. I will not be quiet when I know that underhand, spiteful, or unfair practises are being carried out by those who would prefer their activities to stay in the dark. If it means embarrassing or exposing recognised names in the industry then so be it - I have done it before - I will do it again. All opinions expressed by myself are entirely personal and in no way linked to or representative of The Research Squad, or any other organisation or company I am linked to, associate with or work for Brian Balkwill
1. Intelligent argument is encouraged, simple name calling is not
2. I don't mind strong language as long as it part of Rule 1.
3. This site is not here to slag off manufacturers
4. Moderation will be light - I do not mind being insulted, again as long its part of Rule 1.
5. Nauseating, sychophantic fan messages will be deleted - there are other blogs where you can do this - go there
